Past Adventure Bay, the Landing becomes more rural. Eastside Road follows the east shore of Okanagan Lake toward Ellison Provincial Park, with acreage-style lakeshore homes and the Outback Lakeside Resort, a large lakeside strata community.

The Outback Lakeside Resort
The Outback, at 9845 Eastside Road, is a 185-unit strata of single-family homes, duplexes and fourplexes built from about 2007. It has two beaches, pools and a marina with slips to buy or rent, plus an on-site rental program. As with any resort strata, read the bylaws, rental rules, fees and depreciation report carefully. What to check
- Wildfire risk and insurance. This is wildland–urban interface. Ask your insurer about premiums and any requirements, and look at FireSmart work on the property.
- Distance from services. Groceries, schools and hospital are 15 to 20 minutes away.
- Water and septic for rural properties outside the resort.
