Lake view is not waterfront
Some well-known Vernon communities are lake view, not lakefront. Predator Ridge sits on the upland between Okanagan and Kalamalka lakes with no lakefront lots, and condo buildings such as The Mandalay and Peregrine Point have lake views but aren't on the water. Waterfront means the property runs to the lake's natural boundary, and that's what brings riparian rights and the chance of a private dock.
